At PDF Tools, we prioritize your privacy above all else. Unlike other online PDF services, we do not upload your files to any server. All PDF processing (merging, extracting, compressing, etc.) happens locally within your web browser using advanced WebAssembly technologies. Your documents never leave your device.

Since we do not process files on our servers, we do not collect, store, or have access to any content within your uploaded files. We do not track user behavior or collect personal identification information (PII).

We use local storage only to save your user preferences (like dark mode, if applicable). No sensitive data is ever persisted.

We may use standard analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to understand general website traffic usage. These tools collect anonymous data such as page views and browser types, but are never linked to your file content.
